ABOUT ABOUT

The Tile Industry and Green Building

As designers and specifiers, we are challenged in making a conscious decision to specify sustainable building materials that not only affect our buildings, and the people that live and work in them, but also the well-being of our environment. In this course, we will explore the sustainable attributes of ceramic tile and the ways it can contribute to LEED V4. We will also explain the Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) and Health Product Declaration (HPD) processes and compare the Life Cycle Analysis of ceramic tile to other flooring materials.
