The International Interior Design Association NY Chapter is honored to host Valerie Hillings, PH.D., Curator and Manager, Curatorial Affairs, Solomon R. Guggenheim Foundation. 

Dr. Hillings has been a curator at Guggenheim since 2004 organizing exhibitions along with her team at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum New York, the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, Deutsche Guggenheim, and the Guggenheim Hermitage Museum in Las Vegas.  She is currently leading the Guggenheim’s curatorial team responsible for building a permanent collection and developing exhibitions for the future Guggenheim Abu Dhabi.

Our discussion will go into detail about Dr. Hillings’ process, challenges and what life as a global curator is really all about.
