Decorative Surfaces Overview addresses all types of laminates and their benefits for specifiers and end users. The course will cover a brief history of laminates, product selection based on needs, and different types of laminates and their key purchasing factors.

Topics include high pressure laminates, fiber reinforced laminates, and thermally fused laminates, in addition to a number of specialty laminates. The course will also address key market segments for laminates, their issues and how decorative surfaces address those issues

Speaker:
Kathryn Blenis is the Director of Specifications at Panolam Surface Systems, the manufacturer of Nevamar and Pionite laminates. In her position as director she manages 6 specification managers covering the Northeast and Eastern Canada. She has 10+ years of commercial specifications and sales experience working for manufacturers and building material distributors.

This event will provide 0.1 IDCEC CEUs
