ABOUT ABOUT

The IIDA NY Facilities Forum is now the Futurist Forum to align its name with its mission: The IIDA NY Futurist Forum provides a venue for surfacing new ideas and issues impacting Interior Design. Our committee engages established thought leaders and emerging voices to share their unique points of view across design disciplines.

We all experience the effects of disruption. The game changing ideas, technologies and companies that challenge the status quo are advancing the way we live, work and experience our hyper-connected world. With traditional rules out the window, the Futurist Forum will explore what the practice of Interior Design may look like ten years from now.

Our panel will focus on current trends in real estate, technology and social media that will continue to shape our physical world and inform what comes next. We ask our panelists, “What is the future of Interior Design?”

We are proud to feature three distinct voices representing different aspects of change: a technology innovator, a social media purveyor, and a design entrepreneur.

Moderator:
Gabrielle Rubin Deveaux, Global Real Estate & Facilities, Buzzfeed

Speakers:
David Gilford, Head of Connected Communities, Intersection
Stephen Searer, Founder and CEO, Office Snapshots
Noa Santos, Co-Founder and CEO, Homepolish
