Exploring the Historic Landmark

Join the Institutional Forum for a guided discussion through the conservation and rejuvenation efforts of the over 170 year old gothic church, located in the heart of Lower Manhattan. Led by Jeffrey Murphy of MBB Architects, we will explore the history of Trinity Church with an in-depth look at the current renovation to help modernize this iconic landmark.

Jeffery Murphy, Partner, MBB Architects

Jeffrey Murphy is a founding Partner of MBB Architects. Jeffrey has led projects for a diverse group of clients including Trinity Church Wall Street, Princeton University, UNICEF Innovations Lab, the Chewonki Foundation and St. Patrick's Cathedral. His work at St. Patrick’s Cathedral won a 2019 AIA National COTE Award for excellence in sustainability and a 2016 AIA National Honor Award.
 
Jeffrey holds a Master in Architecture degree from the Harvard Graduate School of Design and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture degree from the University of Virginia. At Harvard he was the recipient of the Aga Khan Program for Islamic Architecture Research Fellowship and was awarded the post-graduate Wheelwright Fellowship. Jeffrey is currently a Graduate School of Design Appointed Director for the Harvard Alumni Association. Jeffrey received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Virginia. Jeffrey was elected to the College of Fellows of the American Institute of Architects in 2016.
