Celebrating the "Power of Design" IIDA NY will close our 2011 Pioneering Design series celebrating the friendship and collaboration of Patrizia Moroso and Patricia Urquiola.

Patrizia Moroso is the Art Director of Moroso S.P.A, a family business known for scouting and commissioning the most unusual pieces that use hand crafting and the newest technologies.

Patricia Urquiola, after having practiced design with Vico Magistretti and Piero Lissoni, in 2001 opened her own studio for product design, architecture, installations and concept creation. Her client list includes: Valentino, Hermes, B&B Italia, Flos, Foscarini, Knoll, Rosenthal, Swarovski, the Mandarin Oriental, and the Orviedo Opera.
