SUSTAINABLE DESIGN FORUM: GRADING THE RATINGS: A LOOK @ LEED V4 & LBC

The event will take place on Thursday, April 19th at 6:30 - 8:30 pm in the new COOKFOX office, which is both LEED Platinum and WELL Gold certified. Their office is located at 250 West 57th Street. Guided tours will be available early in the evening before the presentation begins.

After registration and networking, we will introduce the event and our 2 special guest presenters. Sheryl Owen, HOK NY will speak about the latest version of LEED, Version 4, focusing on issues related to the design of interiors. Joining Sheryl will be Shawn Hesse, International Living Future Institute. Shawn will discuss the principles of the Living Building Challenge certification, again as it relates to interiors. Both speakers will summarize the similarities, differences and overlaps between the two rating systems.

After the presentations, there will be ample opportunity for Q & A with the audience.

This program will provide 0.13 IDCEC CEU and 1.3 AIA LUs.
The current compliance period runs from Jan. 1, 2018 to Dec. 31, 2019. IIDA Professional and Associate Members are required to complete and report 1.0 CEU (10 hours) of continuing education prior to Dec. 31, 2019. All Professional and Associate Members (active and inactive) including educators, IIDA Fellows, and chapter officers must adhere to IIDA compliance requirements.
